Reduced banking charges

The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation and the Government of Uganda has issued guidelines to help mitigate the spread of the disease.

In partnership with the Uganda Bankers Association, Stanbic Bank is taking all necessary steps to implement measures to support our customers and promote their health and well being in this time of need.

We are encouraging our customers to make use of our digital channels as far as possible to conduct their daily banking activities and for making payments.

In order to support this initiative and ease the burden on customers we have reviewed our pricing on selected services for the next 30 days effective 23rd March 2020 as follows:

• Free to make payments using our Stanbic App, Online Banking and Mobile Banking (*290#) for: DSTV, GOtv, Utilities (Water & Electricity), URA, Instant Money, SMS Alerts;
• Free cash withdrawal up to Ushs 50,.000 per day at Stanbic Bank's over 2,700 Agent outlets located across the country;
• Free for cash withdrawals up to Ushs 50,000 per day at our 170 ATM's located countrywide;
• Free bank account to mobile wallet transactions below value Ushs 30,000 per day;
• Free issue of VISA Debit Cards for existing customers requesting for a card; and Free card replacement for customers who require replacement of a VISA Debit Card.

We encourage our customers to register and use cashless banking solutions like our Stanbic App (download from Apple iStore or Google Play Store), Mobile Banking for all day to day banking transactions and VISA Debit Card for payments.
